Directions to Culmhead House,

Coming from the M5 motorway
from London
Turn off at Junction 25. (The Taunton turn off)
Follow the signs Taunton town centre, pass through the
traffic lights and turn left at the large roundabout. follow
dual carriageway for half a mile to next set of lights.
Proceed through lights along East Reach Street and fork left
at next lights. Follow road past Vivary Park and police
station until you pick up the sign for TRULL on your left..
Proceed through Trull and Staplehay and on through Blagdon
Hill. You will see the Lamb and Flag public house on the
left. Continue past the war memorial around the hairpin bend
and follow the road to the crossroads. At the crossroads
there is a sign for a caravan park to your left and
wellington to the right, which is the road you take.
Culmhead House is a quarter of a mile on the right hand
side.
Turning off at junction 26. (The Wellington turn off)
Take the first exit, i.e. first left and right at the 'T'
junction facing you. Proceed along for about a mile and turn
left at the next 'T' junction. Follow signs for Ford Street
and continue through the village and on up the hill till you
reach the top. Turn left and continue along the road past
the Merry Harriers. Culmhead House is 1.9 miles
on your left hand side.
From the A303
Approaching from the East, follow the Honiton signs on the
A303, turn right at EAGLE CROSS and from the west turn left
after you have left Honiton; this is marked by a large white
sign and the Eagle Tavern is adjacent. There is also a sign
for Wellington and Taunton. At this point you are
approximately 7 miles from Culmhead House.
Proceed along this road for approximately four miles and you
will come to a crossroads, go straight over and continue for
another few miles. Turn right at the next ' T' junction. The
Holman Clavel public house is on the left. At this point you
will be approaching another cross roads so go straight over
and Culmhead House will be found on the right hand side some
quarter of a mile further on.
